Beware! BSP Warns Against AI-Generated Scams Targeting Filipinos
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has issued a stern warning about a rising wave of scams powered by artificial intelligence (AI). These sophisticated schemes use AI to create convincing videos and audios that spread misinformation, often targeting esteemed organizations like the BSP and its officials.

Governor Eli Remolona, Jr. has made it clear: he is not endorsing any cryptocurrency ventures, such as the dubious "Tesler Code," nor is he involved in cryptocurrency investments. Any misrepresentation of BSP or its personnel could lead to legal consequences.

To shield yourself from these scams, BSP advises exercising caution. Avoid divulging personal details to unverified sources or suspicious entities. Always verify messages claiming to be from BSP officials and promptly report any suspicious activity to BSP's official channels.

If you encounter suspicious activity or have questions, BSP encourages reaching out through their official channels.

This advisory underscores the importance of staying vigilant online and verifying information before taking action. Stay informed and stay safe!
