He shared screenshots of conversations with Denise Julia’s team, detailing how his team adjusted the budget from the initial ₱1.2M to ₱371K—significantly below industry standards—to accommodate Denise’s request for a one-day shoot.

BJ clarified that the project’s cancellation wasn’t due to budget disagreements, as Denise claimed, but because her glam team pulled out last minute, leaving her feeling unprepared. Despite the last-minute changes, BJ emphasized his team’s efforts to meet Denise's needs, even absorbing cancellation costs.

“I deeply value professionalism and fairness. Sharing this context isn’t about escalating the issue but about transparency,” BJ wrote.

Denise Julia Fires Back

Denise Julia, in response, shared a video screen recording of conversations to support her claims. She expressed hurt over BJ's public statements, claiming they were unwarranted attacks on her character.

“We went into this wanting to work with you as genuine fans. From the beginning, we were upfront about our budget,” Denise shared, adding that she even moved her release date to collaborate with BJ.

She accused BJ of airing private negotiations and targeting her unfairly. “I thought we had agreed to discuss this in person. We are now in contact with our legal team about a defamation suit,” Denise concluded.
