Senator Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go is all in for a new measure that aims to expand the Court of Appeals' (CA) capacity, ensuring it can handle cases more efficiently. During a Senate hearing on September 18, 2024, Go expressed his full support for Senate Bill No. 1186, which proposes adding three new divisions to the CA, each with three members.

Go emphasized how crucial it is to speed up the judicial process, saying, “Justice delayed is justice denied. This measure is about giving every Filipino their right to a speedy trial and quick resolution of their cases."

In addition to this, Go also threw his weight behind Senate Bill No. 1185, which focuses on modernizing the Bureau of Immigration. The goal is to make the immigration system better equipped to handle modern threats like child sexual abuse and cross-border terrorism.

For Go, both bills reflect a push toward making the legal and immigration systems more efficient, so they can better serve the needs of the public.
