Suga from BTS has made a heartfelt apology for his recent drunk driving incident, taking to BTS’s Weverse page to express his remorse. In a handwritten post, Suga addressed his fans and everyone affected by his actions with a sincere message.

"Hello, this is Suga," he began, acknowledging the gravity of his mistake. "I would like to ashamedly apologize once again. I sincerely apologize for the disappointment that my misbehavior has caused to my fans and those who have shown me love."

On August 6, Suga admitted to making a serious error in judgment by riding an electric scooter on the sidewalk after drinking. He also expressed regret over his initial apology posted on August 7, noting that he should have been more thoughtful and careful.

"I should have thought more deeply about my actions," Suga wrote, "but I did not. Everything is my fault. My indiscretion has given everyone who cares about me a difficult time. I will not make the same mistake again and I will live while repenting for my mistake."

He reflected on how his actions have impacted his relationships with the BTS members and fans, stating, "I have severely damaged the precious memories I have made with the BTS members and the fans, and have hurt BTS’s name." Suga apologized deeply to the members who trust him and to the fans who have supported him.

Suga also acknowledged the difficulty in repairing the disappointment caused by his actions, committing to reflect on his mistake with a heavy heart. "I will gladly accept any and all punishments that may be levied my way as well as any criticism and reprimands."

The apology comes after Suga attended a three-hour questioning session at the Yongsan Police Station regarding the incident. His candid and remorseful message underscores his recognition of the seriousness of his actions and his commitment to making amends.
