Calvin Abueva Suspended For Magnolia's PBA Game Against NLEX Due To Obscene Gesture

Calvin Abueva, the forward for Magnolia, has been suspended for one game by the Commissioner's Office following his obscene gesture towards a fan during the Manila Clasico game against Barangay Ginebra. Along with the suspension, Abueva has been fined P20,000.
The suspension comes into effect immediately, causing Abueva to miss the upcoming game against NLEX.
Despite his apology and assurance not to repeat the act, Commissioner Willie Marcial warned of harsher penalties if Abueva repeats such behavior in the future.
