Cavite Resident Claims P46 Million Jackpot In Mega Lotto 6-45 Draw

One person from Cavite has emerged as the fortunate winner of the P46 million jackpot in Monday night’s Mega Lotto 6/45 draw, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in an advisory released Tuesday.
The winning combination, 33-17-40-09-42-20, clinched the jackpot prize of P46,011,957.80. The winning ticket was procured from an outlet situated at LLML COMM Bldg., in Magallanes town.
According to Republic Act 1169, which governs PCSO lotteries, winners have a one-year window from the draw date to claim their prize. All jackpot prizes, including this substantial sum, must be retrieved from the PCSO main office located in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. Notably, lottery winnings exceeding P10,000 are subject to a 20% tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.
Besides the jackpot, 40 others secured P32,000 each for accurately guessing five out of the six winning digits, while 1,459 participants were entitled to P1,000 each for matching four correct digits. Furthermore, 24,616 players will receive P30 each for predicting three correct digits.
The Mega Lotto 6/45 draw occurs thrice a week, specifically every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
