The Regional Trial Court (RTC) in Davao City has issued a temporary protection order directing the Philippine National Police (PNP) to remove barriers surrounding the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound. The court order, which was promptly received by the Police Regional Office 11, specifically instructs the removal of barricades that were impeding access to the KOJC.

The PNP, however, is emphasizing that this order does not halt their ongoing operations. According to their legal team, while the court’s directive mandates the removal of the barriers, it doesn’t stop the implementation of arrest warrants against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and four others. The police are still actively pursuing their duties, including searching for individuals linked to the case.

In response, the PNP is seeking further clarification from the RTC Davao to ensure they fully understand the court’s intentions. The police have also pointed out that it wasn’t them who set up the barriers; rather, KOJC members allegedly placed fire trucks and other blockades near the entrance, potentially restricting access to the compound.

For now, the PNP remains focused on its mission while complying with the court's instructions. The situation is still unfolding, and more updates are expected as both sides navigate this complex legal scenario.
