Daraga Mayor Carlwyn Baldo has once again found himself at the center of a storm, as he was arrested by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) for his alleged involvement in the murder of Ako Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe. Despite the serious charges against him, Baldo remains steadfast and hopeful, addressing his constituents with a message of resilience and faith.

In a heartfelt social media post, Baldo shared his thoughts on the ongoing legal battle. "This isn't the first time I've faced personal challenges," he began, urging his fellow Daragueños to respect the court's decision, no matter the outcome.

Baldo also took the opportunity to reflect on his two years as mayor, emphasizing his commitment to fulfilling the promises he made during the election. "You, my fellow Daragueños, were the ones who put me back in office," he reminded them, assuring that he had worked tirelessly to meet his obligations and responsibilities to the community.

Acknowledging the trials that life often brings, Baldo expressed his belief that this too shall pass, just as previous challenges have. "I trust, as before, that we will overcome this together," he said, calling for strength, faith, and unity among his supporters.

In a final note of gratitude, Baldo extended his deepest thanks to those who continue to believe in him, pray for him, and stand by his side. "To all who remain by my side, I offer my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support," he wrote, urging everyone to keep moving forward, no matter what happens next.
