Aguila Entertainment issued a statement regarding the hacking of Dennis Trillo's TikTok account. According to the statement, the actor's account was compromised around noontime on July 1, 2024.

Unauthorized comments were made using his name, which Aguila assures the public were not from Dennis himself. The company emphasized Dennis Trillo's character, highlighting his kindness and respect, stating it is unlikely for him to make such remarks.

"We are currently addressing the issue to prevent future incidents," said Jan Enriquez, General Manager at Aguila, in a social media post. "We are investigating the situation, but it is confirmed that the comments were not from Dennis. He is currently occupied with the taping for 'Pulang Araw' and has limited access to his phone as per his PA. We urge the public not to jump to conclusions regarding this incident."

The incident comes amidst recent online controversy where Dennis Trillo faced backlash for comments made on his TikTok account, which were subsequently deleted.

Fans of ABS-CBN expressed dissatisfaction over remarks perceived as dismissive towards the network, despite ongoing projects involving Trillo's wife, Jennylyn Mercado, under the Kapamilya label, Star Music.
