Dr. Willie Ong has officially announced his withdrawal from the 2025 elections, citing his need to prioritize his health. Known for his dedication to public service and medical advocacy, Doc Willie expressed deep gratitude to his supporters who stood by him throughout his political journey.

"I sincerely thank all the people who supported me and prayed for me," he shared, reassuring everyone that his commitment to good governance remains strong. Even without a government position, he vowed to continue helping poor Filipinos in his personal capacity.

While many were hoping to see him on the ballot, Doc Willie made it clear—health comes first. His message was met with an outpouring of support, with many thanking him for his years of service and wishing him well.

Though he’s stepping back from the political arena, Doc Willie’s presence in public service is far from over.
