The Department of Justice (DOJ) has officially filed charges against Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, two independent TV and film contractors, who allegedly abused actor Sandro Muhlach. The DOJ’s Panel of Prosecutors reviewed the case and found enough evidence for Nones and Cruz to face serious allegations, including one count of rape through sexual assault and two counts of acts of lasciviousness.

The charges, now filed with the Pasay Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 115, came after a careful assessment of the evidence presented, where prosecutors determined that there was a strong basis for conviction. According to the panel's findings, all key elements of sexual assault and lascivious conduct were clearly met, as well as signs of force and intimidation.

Nones and Cruz’s camp responded, noting they have not yet received a copy of the DOJ’s resolution but intend to release a statement once they have reviewed it. The cases are now officially on the docket, and both Nones and Cruz will soon face the court as the judicial process begins.
