In a heartwarming celebration last July 30, the iconic Philippine noontime show "Eat Bulaga" marked its 45th anniversary with a nostalgic and joyful tribute.

The milestone event featured a touching video montage captioned "Hangga't may bata, may Eat Bulaga ❤️," encapsulating the show's enduring spirit and connection with audiences of all ages.

The celebration was graced by the legendary trio TVJ—Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon—along with the show's beloved hosts, both old and new. Excitement filled the air as Joey De Leon announced, "Ngayong 2024, the official countdown begins for Eat Bulaga's 5 Years to 5 Decades." The statement set the stage for an eagerly anticipated journey towards their 50th anniversary.

Jose Manalo took a moment to express heartfelt gratitude to their loyal fans, saying, "Nagpapasalamat po kaming lahat, sa lahat po ng bahay, sa barangay na patuloy niyo pa kaming pinapapasok sa inyong lugar." His words reflected the deep appreciation the "Eat Bulaga" family feels for the unwavering support they have received over the years.

The past year has been a challenging one for "Eat Bulaga." The show faced significant issues with its previous production company, leading to legal battles and a dramatic shift in its broadcasting. Just recently, they emerged victorious, winning their trademark, a triumph that solidifies their legacy.

Once a staple on GMA 7, "Eat Bulaga" now airs on TV5, bringing its signature mix of entertainment, laughter, and heartfelt moments to a new home. Despite the changes, the show's essence remains the same, continuing to bring joy to households across the Philippines.

As "Eat Bulaga" embarks on its official countdown to 50 years, fans can look forward to more memorable moments, laughter, and surprises from a show that has truly become a part of Filipino culture.
