Eight Prisoners Escape From San Jose Del Monte Police Custody; Manhunt Underway
BJMP File
Eight persons who are deprived of liberty (PDLs) managed to escape from the custodial facility at the San Jose Del Monte Police Station. According to authorities, the escapees were housed in Cell 4 of the police station.

The discovery was made when fellow inmates sought help from the custodial officer on duty. "Sir may tumakas," the officer reported upon inquiry. It was revealed that the prisoners escaped by breaking through the metal bars of a window in the comfort room.

Authorities are currently investigating how the escape was orchestrated and how the prisoners gained access to the custodial facility.

Four of the escaped PDLs have already been apprehended by the police. "Based on information gathered from our operatives, some were captured at their nearest residences, while others were arrested at their homes," stated PMSG. ROD Pating.

Manhunt operations are ongoing to locate the remaining escapees, all of whom are facing drug-related charges.

Meanwhile, authorities have reinforced security measures by cementing and covering the window area of the custodial facility through which the PDLs escaped.
