Farewell To Song Jae Rim: Beloved Actor Passes Away At 39

South Korean actor Song Jae Rim has passed away at the age of 39. The Seoul-based Seongdong Police Station confirmed that Song was found in his apartment on November 12. A two-page letter was reportedly discovered at the scene, though details remain private.

While the exact cause of his passing has not been publicly confirmed, a police representative shared that there were no immediate signs of foul play.

Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim was a beloved presence in Korean entertainment. He stepped into the spotlight in 2009 with his role in the film Actresses, quickly gaining fans for his unique style and natural charisma. Song’s breakout role came in the 2012 drama The Moon Embracing the Sun, which catapulted him into the hearts of viewers both in Korea and abroad.

He went on to shine in a number of popular series, including Two Weeks, Unkind Ladies, and most recently, Queen Woo. Fans adored him for his versatility and warmth, which came through in each of his roles.
