In the aftermath of the devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake that rattled Taiwan, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Officer-in-Charge, Hans Leo Cacdac, has reported a fourth Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) sustaining injuries. The incident occurred on Wednesday, further escalating concerns about the safety of Filipino workers abroad.

The injured OFW suffered minor injuries as a result of the seismic activity and was promptly admitted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, after receiving necessary medical attention, the OFW has been discharged from the hospital.

DMW's Migrant Workers Offices across key locations in Taiwan, including Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, remain vigilant and actively monitor the situation.
