The Philippine government has affirmed its decision to uphold Alert Level 2 for the State of Israel, retaining restrictions on further deployments of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to the region.

The move comes amid ongoing concerns regarding the security situation in Israel.

The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv has reiterated its recommendation for all non-essential travel from the Philippines to Israel to be postponed indefinitely, or until conditions stabilize.

For those who must travel to Israel, stringent precautions are advised to ensure their safety.

Additionally, all Filipinos residing in the region are urged to stay vigilant and stay updated with security advisories issued by their host governments. As part of contingency planning measures, Filipinos are encouraged to coordinate closely with their overseas community leaders and Philippine Embassies/Consulates.
