In a magical ceremony that unfolded on the picturesque Balesin Island Club’s Royal Villa, Heart Evangelista and Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero renewed their wedding vows Thursday, February 15, marking their ninth year of marital bliss.

The actress and the lawmaker chose this special occasion to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other.

Heart Evangelista, the radiant bride, stunned in a bespoke beige gown adorned with intricate beading and a veil, a personal touch that added an extra layer of romance to the ceremony. The actress shared glimpses of the enchanting event through video snippets on her social media, captioning one post with "Happy #chizheartchaptertwo."

The choice of her gown, a custom creation by renowned designer Elie Saab, held special significance for Evangelista.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar Singapore, she revealed, “Elie Saab has a special place in my heart—it was actually one of the first shows I ever attended in fashion week. I’ve always loved their dreamy and romantic creations, and when I saw the custom couture dress, I knew that was it.”

The ceremony was not just a celebration of love but also a showcase of meaningful jewelry.

Evangelista adorned a bespoke necklace adorned with diamonds collected over the years, some of which were gifted by her parents and her beloved husband. Each piece held sentimental value, turning the jewelry into a beautiful symbol of the couple's enduring love story.
