The House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability is stepping up its investigation into the controversial P125 million confidential funds spent by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) in 2022. They've even put a P1 million bounty on the table for anyone who can provide information about Mary Grace Piattos, the person said to hold the largest share in the funds and who allegedly signed questionable acknowledgment receipts.

Rep. Jay Khonghun made it clear that the committee is eager to uncover the truth. "We're looking for anyone who can help us identify Mary Grace Piattos and assist us in bringing her to the hearing. We want to find out if she really exists," he explained.

The funds, labeled as confidential, have raised eyebrows, prompting lawmakers to dig deeper into how they were used and who was involved. For now, the spotlight is on Piattos, but the mystery surrounding her identity is adding even more intrigue to the ongoing probe.
