The father of It's Showtime host Cianne Dominguez has presented harrowing details of his daughter's recent ordeal. Cianne Dominguez was reportedly targeted in an attempted rape incident by a supposed gay bar dancer and performer.

According to the father, the incident unfolded when the dancer followed his daughter to her condominium. The suspect allegedly forcibly prevented the door from being closed and proceeded to assault Cianne, attempting to kiss her against her will. Fortunately, Cianne displayed remarkable strength and courage, resisting the attacker's advances. In a bold move, she even managed to capture video footage of the performer as he fled the scene.

Despite the suspect’s attempts to evade capture by fleeing along EDSA, the main thoroughfare in Metro Manila, he was swiftly apprehended by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the condominium.

The suspect is currently in custody under the jurisdiction of the Quezon City Police District 10, where he is facing serious charges related to the alleged assault.
