Clocking in at 1:05.79 seconds, Mangliwan finished 4th in his heat, which secured him a spot among the top 8 athletes heading into the finals.

For those who’ve been following his journey, this comes as no surprise. Mangliwan’s determination and grit have always been his trademarks, and now, all eyes are on him as he gears up for the final showdown.

Mark your calendars and set your alarms! Mangliwan will be racing in the finals on August 30, 2024, at 7:14 PM Paris time. For those back home in the Philippines, that’s August 31, 2024, at 1:14 AM Manila time. The race will take place at the iconic Stade de France.
