In a heartfelt and candid Instagram post, StarStruck alumnus Jesi Corcuera shared the news of a milestone moment in his life—he’s expecting his first child!

“Of all the captions I’ve had to write, this is probably the hardest one,” Jesi began, setting the tone for an emotional and deeply personal announcement. He opened up about the unique journey that led to his pregnancy, describing it as both unexpected and a blessing.

Jesi explained that he started planning for a child back in 2018, but the financial challenges and complexities of his initial plan to go through IVF made the dream seem distant. “That time, there were a lot of struggles, especially financially. It’s no joke how expensive IVF can be,” he recalled.

But life took a surprising turn when his partner, Cams, re-entered his life along with her children. “I thought it was a sign from God,” Jesi shared. Acting as a father figure to Cams’ children made him realize that there might still be a chance for him to have his own child.

Fast forward to this year, and Jesi’s dream has become a reality—albeit through a path he didn’t initially expect. “I didn’t expect that it would happen through my last option, which is carrying the child myself, but I’m so thankful that God granted this gift to me,” Jesi said.

With a loving nickname “Ninja” already picked out for his baby, Jesi is excitedly embracing his new role as a parent. “I just want something I can call my own,” he explained, reflecting on his decision. Despite having already taken on the role of a parent figure to Cams’ children, Jesi said he’s now looking forward to welcoming his own child into the world.

“I know that there are things that won’t change, especially in how I care for the kids I’ve accepted as my own,” he affirmed, adding that Cams and the children have played a huge role in shaping who he is today.

For Jesi, this new chapter is a testament to resilience and faith. He concluded his post with a plea for understanding and support, urging people not to be quick to judge. “The process wasn’t easy for me, so I hope you won’t judge what you see now so easily,” he shared.

Now, Jesi and Cams are looking forward to this new journey together, one filled with love, acceptance, and new beginnings. Jesi hopes that his story will inspire others and serve as a reminder that parenthood, in whatever form it takes, is a beautiful and personal experience.
