In the midst of buzzing political developments between President Ferdinand Marcos. Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte, Senator Gringo Honasan is urging everyone — politicians and citizens alike — to stay calm, composed, and united.

Senator Honasan has been vocal about his earlier proposal for a State Council, involving former presidents Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Joseph Estrada, and Rodrigo Duterte. His vision? A private, no-media meeting where these national leaders could discuss the country’s pressing concerns away from the limelight.

The senator emphasized the importance of keeping political conversations respectful and focused on solutions rather than divisions. "At this critical juncture in our country's narrative, it is vital that we uphold tranquility and reason in our political discussions. Let us engage in constructive conversations directed towards our nation's advancement, without succumbing to animosity or discord," Honasan said.

As political dynamics shift, Honasan’s message is clear: constructive dialogue and national solidarity must come first.

He added, "Numerous challenges confront us as Filipinos. Many are still hungry. Many young individuals aspire for quality education. Many are lacking proper shelter. We still need to safeguard the territory of the Philippines. As Filipinos, we are in this together, standing united."
