Actor Ken Chan finally broke his silence following news of syndicated estafa charges filed against him. Addressing his followers on social media, he opened up about the legal battle and the struggles surrounding his closed business venture, Café Claus, which once boasted three branches.

“Isang mapagpalang araw po sa inyong lahat,” Ken began, acknowledging his fans and supporters. He explained that the case revolves around the business loss of Café Claus, a venture that, unfortunately, didn’t succeed. “Hindi po ako nanloko ng tao,” he emphasized, firmly denying any deceit. Ken clarified that the café was indeed set up but struggled to thrive, leading to its closure.

Ken was straightforward about the allegations being circulated, noting, “Hindi po dahil ito ang amount na isinampa laban sa akin ay ito na ang buong katotohanan.” He believes the figures being reported only reflect the complainant’s side and pledged to share a full and accurate account in the near future.

He went on to share how the situation has been challenging, saying, “Kaunting panahon po at ilalabas ko lahat ang katotohanan kung bakit nangyari ito sa kumpanya.” Ken hinted that some former business partners allegedly conspired to bring down the café and damage his reputation. Despite the turmoil, he assured his fans that he hasn’t been idle; he has been pursuing the matter legally with a team of supporters who believe in his innocence.

Ken also reached out to brands and companies he’s associated with, expressing sincere apologies for any impact this issue may have caused them. Yet, amid the struggles, he remained optimistic and thankful, saying, “Sa kabila ng lahat gusto kong magpasalamat sa pagsuporta at pag-unawa ninyo sa akin. Ramdam ko po ang pagmamahal ninyo.”

Ken asked his followers to keep him in their prayers as he faces this uphill legal and personal battle.
