Lexter Castro, also known as Boy Dila, issued a public apology for his recent controversial actions during the San Juan Wattah Wattah festival. The incident involved him using a water gun to douse a motorcycle rider while sticking his tongue out, which sparked outrage online.

During a press conference July 2, San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora addressed the issue and presented Lexter Castro to the media. Mayor Zamora expressed his disappointment over the incident, stating that such behavior tarnishes the image of San Juan and the Wattah Wattah festival.

"I apologize to everyone who was affected by my actions. I deeply regret causing harm to the reputation of our city and our festival," Lexter Castro said during the conference. He specifically apologized to the motorcycle rider and expressed his desire to personally apologize to them.

Castro also appealed to those who have been threatening him and his family, urging them not to involve his loved ones in their grievances.

Mayor Zamora emphasized the need for accountability and understanding, urging Castro to realize the impact of his actions on the community and the festival's image.
