As of 3:00 PM Friday, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) has been spotted 900 km east of Southeastern Mindanao, right at coordinates 7.5°N, 133.8°E. This LPA, drifting in the aftermath of Typhoon Carina, is influencing the weather all over the country. If you’re in Luzon or Visayas, you might want to keep your umbrella handy and stay alert!

In the Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, and Bataan, expect occasional rains due to the Southwest Monsoon. The rain might get heavy at times, which could lead to flash floods or landslides, so it's a good idea to be cautious if you're out and about.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, along with Tarlac and Pampanga, is in for a gloomy day with cloudy skies and scattered rains and thunderstorms. The same Southwest Monsoon is responsible, and moderate to heavy rains could bring about flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila, the Visayas, and the rest of Luzon will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. Keep an eye out for sudden weather changes; severe thunderstorms could bring flash floods or landslides.

Down in Mindanao, the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, primarily caused by localized storms. Again, severe thunderstorms could lead to flash floods or landslides.
