Makeup artist Justin Soriano, who was once a part of Heart Evangelista's glam squad, didn’t hold back when addressing a rumor that Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach had "cheated" or “stolen contacts.” The buzz started when an Instagram user accused Pia of using unfair tactics to get ahead in the fashion world. Soriano decided to clear the air and make sure everyone knew the truth.

In a fiery response to the accusations, Soriano wrote, "Pia never ever stole any contacts or whatever. Lalo na kami. We are only glam team and hindi nga namin kilala or close mga PR. Also, PIA IS PIA! She has walked the runway in New York when she was Miss Universe. She already attended a lot of fashion shows in New York way back 2015!" He further elaborated that Pia doesn’t need to resort to stealing contacts, emphasizing her established connections, including friendships with fashion bigwigs like Imran Amed and Natalia Vodianova.

Soriano also pointed out how the rumor seemed like a calculated move to incite hate towards Pia. "Hayy buti nalang when brands hear or read these things, all the more they show love to Pia. The universe talaga is so powerful… u throw hate? The hate goes back to you!" Soriano's impassioned defense didn’t just shut down the rumor; it also highlighted Pia’s successful journey in the fashion industry.

But that’s not all. Just as the drama was unfolding, Heart Evangelista seemed to be throwing a little shade of her own. She posted a cryptic photo on Instagram with the caption, "I didn’t lie … I said ILY." Naturally, the caption had followers buzzing about what – or who – she might be referring to.

Heart’s longtime friend and fellow makeup artist, Albert Kurniawan, added fuel to the fire with his comment: "Ang ganda niyo ni panda dyan, namiss ko kayo. And yup missy, we know you didn’t lie. As your long-time friend, I can attest to that. In this case, sure na sure ako na hindi ikaw yung sinungaling at hindi mo kailangan magsinungaling. Alam ko naman kung sino ang sinungaling without a doubt." His remark, “Tandaan ang sinungaling ay kapatid ng magnanakaw. Bato bato sa langit ang tamaan wag magalit,” left people speculating about who might be the real target of his words.

While these Instagram exchanges have set social media ablaze, Heart is gearing up for the premiere of her upcoming show, *Heart World*. The series promises to give viewers an exclusive glimpse into the life of one of the Philippines’ most beloved style icons. “The country’s most loved icon, Heart Evangelista, invites you into her world.
