President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has endorsed Hilario Bringas Paredes to lead the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) as its new chairperson. This endorsement comes as Paredes is set to succeed Thompson C. Lantion in the pivotal role.

The BCDA, known for its mission of converting former military bases and other properties into thriving economic hubs, plays a significant role in national development.
