Markki Stroem Reflects On His Mister Universe Journey: 'What A Ride!'

Markki Stroem has a lot to celebrate after his impressive showing at Mister Universe! The multi-talented Filipino artist took to social media to share his journey, expressing gratitude and humility as he announced his 4th runner-up finish.
“What a journey @themisteruniverse was! Ended up as 4th runner up! Not bad 馃グ,” Markki wrote, radiating positivity.
And the accolades didn’t stop there! Markki also proudly bagged two major special awards: Best in National Costume and Best in Talent.
Representing the Philippines, famously known as the “Pearl of the Orient,” Markki shared how much the experience meant to him. “Happy to have represented the ‘Pearl of the Orient’, the Philippines! I am so deeply sorry, I guess, sometimes nerves take over. 馃槩,” he admitted, showing a heartfelt side of his journey.
The dashing finalist also made sure to give credit where it’s due. “I would like to say a big thank you to my designers! @albert_andrada for this magnificent white suit! I will be thanking my designers one by one in the coming days!”
Grateful for the overwhelming support from his fellow Filipinos, Markki shared his heartfelt appreciation: “Maraming salamat Pilipinas! Maraming salamat sa suporta na binigay niyo sakin! Nakakataba ng puso!”
Now, after all the glitz and glamour, Markki is ready for a much-needed break. “Now time for a little well-deserved rest 鉂わ笍馃檹馃徎,” he concluded, leaving fans inspired and proud of his journey.
