Massive Police Presence At Kingdom Of Jesus Christ Compound In Davao City Amid Arrest Warrant For Pastor Quiboloy

In a significant development Monday morning, June 10, more than 100 policemen from various PNP units converged on the compound of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) in Buhangin, Davao City. Their mission: to serve an arrest warrant against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, the embattled leader of KOJC.
The police formed a barricade outside the entrance of the compound as they sought to execute the warrant against Pastor Quiboloy, who is facing a slew of charges including human trafficking and child abuse. N
otably, Quiboloy was indicted in the US on charges of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion, as well as sex trafficking of children and bulk cash smuggling. A federal warrant for his arrest was issued on Nov. 10, 2021.
Despite the police presence, many supporters of Pastor Quiboloy gathered around the compound, seemingly in an attempt to prevent the enforcement of the warrant.
As of now, there is no confirmation regarding whether Pastor Quiboloy is currently inside the compound or not.
