No Brewing Storms Today, But Expect Some Rains In Parts Of The Country
As of 8:00 AM today, there are no low-pressure areas (LPAs) in sight, meaning we’re not expecting any tropical cyclones anytime soon. But don’t stash away your umbrellas just yet—rain is still in the forecast for several parts of the country.

What’s Bringing the Rain?

The Shear Line, Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), and Northeast Monsoon are the main weather players today, bringing scattered rains and thunderstorms in different areas. Here’s what to expect:

Rainy and Cloudy Spots

Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao – The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies and rains, which could lead to flash floods or landslides in some areas.

Isabela and Aurora – The Shear Line is making its presence felt here, with cloudy skies, scattered rains, and isolated thunderstorms. Be alert for possible flooding.

Zamboanga Peninsula, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi – Thanks to the ITCZ, these areas will experience scattered rains and thunderstorms, so stay cautious.

Elsewhere in the Country

If you’re in Metro Manila or other regions, expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. While the Easterlies bring generally warm weather, some areas might see sudden heavy downpours.

Stay Updated!

Though there’s no storm brewing, it’s always best to stay updated on the latest weather advisories from DOST-PAGASA. Keep your rain gear handy, and stay safe out there.
