Heads up, everyone. As of 6:30 PM today, September 16, 2024, several areas across the country have announced class suspensions for tomorrow, September 17. The combined effects of the southwest monsoon (habagat) and Tropical Depression #GenerPH are bringing in some nasty weather, so it's better to stay safe at home.

Here’s a quick rundown of the places where classes are suspended:

locos Region

- Ilocos Sur (province-wide): All levels (public and private), plus government offices will also be closed.
- Pangasinan (province-wide): All levels (public and private) are suspended.

Central Luzon

- Tarlac City, Tarlac: All levels (public and private).

Western Visayas

- Iloilo City: Preschool to high school (public and private).
- Antique:
- Hamtic: Preschool to senior high school (public and private).
- San Jose de Buenavista: No face-to-face classes from preschool to senior high school (public and private), but modular learning will continue.

Negros Island Region

- Negros Occidental:
- Binalbagan: All levels (public and private).
- E.B. Magalona: No face-to-face classes for all levels (public and private), with a shift to modular learning.
- Silay City: All levels (public and private).

While we all love a good break from classes, let’s also remember to stay alert and prepared. Make sure to keep updated on the weather, and if you’re affected by the modular learning setup, get ready for home-based learning. Keep safe, everyone.
