Filipino rapper Omar Baliw is not happy, and he’s making sure everyone knows it. The hip-hop artist recently took to Facebook to call out Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, who is running for senator, for using his track “K&B” without permission at a campaign event.

In a now-viral post, Baliw shared a video from Quiboloy’s kick-off rally, where the song was played as a jingle. His caption? “Di pa nakaupo, nagnakaw na agad. [W]ala kaming kinalaman dito. Pwede ba itong ipa-Barangay? Awit.”

That’s a pretty strong statement, and fans are backing him up. Many in the comments section expressed support for the rapper, criticizing the unauthorized use of his music.

So far, Quiboloy or his team haven’t responded, but Baliw’s post has already sparked conversations about intellectual property rights—especially in politics, where campaign jingles can make or break a candidate’s image.

What do you think? Should politicians be held more accountable for using artists’ work without permission?
