In the most recent quarterly survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) from December 8 to 11, 2023, President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. garnered a 65% satisfaction rating among adult Filipinos, with 17% undecided and 18% dissatisfied with his performance.

The survey, which sampled 1,200 adults nationwide, showcased a stable satisfaction rate compared to September 2023, with President Marcos maintaining a +47 net satisfaction rating, classified as 'good' by SWS.

Highlights from the survey revealed that President Marcos' approval rating saw a rise in all areas except Mindanao. Balance Luzon exhibited the highest satisfaction rate at very good +52, followed closely by the Visayas at very good +51, Metro Manila at good +44, and Mindanao at good +38.

Moreover, rural areas exhibited higher satisfaction rates than urban areas, with a net satisfaction rating of very good +56 compared to good +39, respectively.

The survey also unveiled gender and age discrepancies in satisfaction levels. While satisfaction rose among men, remaining steady among women, it also showed a rise in satisfaction among the 25-44 age group.

Additionally, the survey noted a rise in satisfaction among respondents with lower education levels, indicating a broad-based approval across socio-demographic characteristics.

The SWS survey, presented at the 2024 SWS Survey Review on February 8, 2024, employed face-to-face interviews as its standard method, ensuring a comprehensive representation of public sentiment. With a sampling error margin of ±2.8% for national percentages, the survey provides valuable insights into the public's perception of President Marcos' performance.
