President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. delivered a resolute message during the 77th founding anniversary of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) in Pampanga, pledging unwavering support for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in advancing their capabilities.

Addressing the gathering, President Marcos highlighted ongoing efforts under his administration, including the acquisition of additional air assets, bolstering cyber warfare communication systems, and advancing base development programs. These initiatives, he emphasized, enhance operational readiness and extend the operational reach of the Air Force.

President Marcos expressed pride in joining the anniversary celebrations alongside the "faithful guardians" of Philippine airspace, commending the PAF for embodying the Filipino spirit of freedom through their aerial prowess.

Recognizing the dedication of PAF personnel, led by Lt Gen. Stephen Parreño, President Marcos lauded their outstanding performance and commitment to national defense. He assured them of his administration's prioritization of their welfare and well-being.

Underlining the government's comprehensive strategy, President Marcos affirmed support for maritime domain awareness and internal security operations, resulting in significant gains against local insurgency groups. He also emphasized the importance of international defense engagements and participation in military exercises to bolster regional security.

President Marcos concluded by calling on the PAF to continue their mission with the ideals of a "Bagong Pilipinas" (New Philippines), emphasizing unity in protecting Philippine skies, defending national territory, and serving the Filipino people.

The President's address underscored his administration's steadfast commitment to enhancing the PAF's capabilities, reinforcing its role as a key instrument for national unity, stability, and global peace.
