PBBM Embarks On Three-Day Working Visit To Germany

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. touched down at the Brandenburg International Airport in Berlin, accompanied by First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos and a government officials and other delegation from the Philippines. The official visit, spanning three days, is set to strengthen ties between the Philippines and Germany.

The presidential plane landed at 9:49 pm local time, marking the beginning of a comprehensive agenda focused on bilateral discussions. Welcoming the esteemed guests were Philippine Ambassador to Germany Irene Susan Natividad and select embassy personnel, extending a warm reception.

During the visit, President Marcos is scheduled to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to deliberate on collaborative efforts in renewable energy. Expressing the Philippines' interest in Germany's expertise, the President outlined key areas of cooperation, including manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, aerospace, innovation and startups, IT-BPM, and minerals processing.

In addition to official meetings, President Marcos will engage with the vibrant Filipino community in Berlin, fostering a connection with overseas nationals.
