Philippines And France Team Up To Make Skies Safer For Everyone

Let’s talk aviation. The Philippines is stepping up its game in air travel safety, and it’s all thanks to an exciting partnership with France. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has joined forces with the French Civil Aviation Authority, or DGAC, to make flying in the country even safer and more efficient.

So, what’s the latest? Over the past two weeks, French aviation experts, including some big names from Airbus, visited the Philippines to help CAAP fine-tune its State Safety Program. This isn’t just a routine check-up—it’s all part of preparing for a major safety audit by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in March 2025.

Why does this matter? Well, these audits ensure that aviation authorities worldwide are keeping up with international safety standards. The technical support from France means the Philippines is on track to meet growing demands in air travel while keeping safety at the forefront.

CAAP couldn’t be more grateful for DGAC and Airbus' support. Their expertise is helping the country soar to new heights—literally. This collaboration highlights the shared vision of both nations to make the skies safer and the aviation industry more efficient for everyone.

With partnerships like this, the future of Philippine aviation looks brighter than ever. Stay tuned for more updates as CAAP and DGAC continue to work together to make every flight a safe one!
