President Biden To Host Trilateral U.S.-Japan-Philippines Summit At White House

President Joe Biden is set to convene President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of the Philippines and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan for the inaugural trilateral U.S.-Japan-Philippines leaders’ summit on April 11 at the White House. The summit aims to bolster a trilateral partnership grounded in historical bonds, economic cooperation, and shared democratic values, with a focus on a free and open Indo-Pacific region. Central to the discussions will be the reaffirmation of the ironclad alliances between the United States and both the Philippines and Japan.
