President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with key officials from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Justice (DOJ), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and Philippine National Police (PNP) yesterday afternoon. The goal? Strengthen collaboration among the PDEA, PNP, and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), ensuring they’re all on the same page when it comes to tackling one of the nation's most pressing issues.

This meeting signals a united push to bring together the most powerful forces against illegal drugs, with each agency playing a unique role in what is planned as a more cohesive and effective strategy. President Marcos highlighted the need for strong, ongoing cooperation across these agencies, especially as new challenges emerge in the fight against illegal substances.

Marcos Jr.'s administration has been actively pushing for a holistic approach to the anti-drug campaign, focusing on law enforcement, rehabilitation, and community-based initiatives. Yesterday’s discussion adds another layer to this vision, with the goal of creating a safer environment for all Filipinos. By getting everyone on board and coordinating closely, President Marcos Jr. and his team aim to turn this mission into tangible results that people will feel in their own neighborhoods.
