President Marcos Vows To Combat Destabilization

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr delivered a resolute message on Thursday, affirming his administration's commitment to thwarting destabilization attempts while prioritizing rural development and counterinsurgency efforts.
Addressing troops at Camp Edilberto Evangelista in Cagayan de Oro City, President Marcos emphasized the imperative of unity and vigilance against internal threats.
He urged loyalty, patriotism, and unwavering service to the nation, highlighting the pivotal role of the military in maintaining peace and security. Emphasizing the evolving nature of security challenges, President Marcos called for readiness to confront digital warfare and combat disinformation campaigns.
He underscored the government's determination to root out adversaries operating within communities and institutions. In tandem with security initiatives, President Marcos spotlighted the government's substantial investments in local development projects, totaling PhP5.3 billion across 356 barangays.
These endeavors encompass infrastructure, education, healthcare, and livelihood support, aiming to address the root causes of insurgency and promote stability.
