Presidential Communications Office Alerts Public To Deepfake Audio Misinformation Campaign
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) has raised awareness about manipulated audio circulating online, falsely attributed to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The PCO highlighted the danger of deepfakes, emphasizing that "No such directive exists nor has been made." The PCO outlined its proactive approach to combating fake news, misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation through its Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Campaign.
