The prosecutor has recommended charging Gerrard Raymund Yu with murder, without the possibility of bail, following the Makati road rage incident on May 28.

Yu is accused of fatally shooting family driver Aniceto Mateo while they were traveling on EDSA near Ayala.

The Mateo family remains steadfast in their pursuit of justice, expressing no intention to settle the case.

"I will see this through no matter what happens. That man should rot in jail, so his money can't buy him out of this," said Mark Mateo, the victim's son.

Yu is currently detained at the custodial facility of the Makati City police, while Aniceto Mateo's remains are scheduled to be buried in Tarlac on Sunday.
