Arnel Ty Clears The Air: Francis Leo Marcos Is Not Part Of LPGMA Partylist

Former LPGMA Partylist Rep. Arnel Ty addressed the buzz surrounding Francis Leo Marcos and his alleged ties to the LPGMA Partylist. Spoiler alert: he’s not part of it.

“Even we were surprised,” Ty admitted. “Suddenly, someone is claiming to be an officer—and even chairman—of our partylist. So we just want to clarify and correct that.”

According to Ty, the best way to settle the issue is by simply looking at the official documents. “Our SEC registration shows the real list of officers. I am the chairman and president, and we’ve made that list public so people can see it for themselves.”

He stressed that anyone can verify the details through COMELEC or SEC since these documents are public records. “This isn’t something you just claim on social media. There’s a process, and official records speak louder than rumors.”

On a related note, Ty also explained how the COMELEC has tightened rules this election season. One new requirement: all contracts with endorsers must now be submitted to the commission. “Gone are the days when candidates could say, ‘Wala ‘yan, nag-endorse lang siya.’ Now, if someone promotes your campaign, there needs to be a signed contract,” he said.

Ty emphasized that this change actually helps candidates. “It gives us guidance from day one of the campaign, and it lessens the chances of committing violations.”

He also shared the official list of LPGMA’s nominees for the upcoming elections. Leading the slate is Atty. Allan Ty, followed by Arnel Ty himself, and eight others. “This list has been recognized by COMELEC. If anyone’s curious, they can check the COMELEC’s social media or website. It’s all there,” he said.

Despite the noise, Ty remained composed and even expressed gratitude to the public for their feedback. “Positive or negative, we welcome it. Your comments help us improve. We’ve been in this industry for more than 25 years, and we treat our constituents like family.”

He wrapped it up with a simple message: “Let’s be guided by the facts. We’re here to serve, and our programs will continue—election or not.”

So there you have it: no drama, just receipts. Francis Leo Marcos has no official role in LPGMA Partylist, and Arnel Ty is making sure the record is crystal clear.
