Looks like the battle for the Senate in 2025 is heating up. PAccording to the latest Arkipelago Analytics Senatorial Preferences Survey, Senator Bong Go is leading the race with a strong 64% voter preference. The longtime Duterte ally and PDP-Laban candidate is proving that his grassroots support and national presence remain solid.

Tulfo Brothers Not Far Behind

Right on Go’s heels are the Tulfo brothers—Erwin Tulfo (59.8%), a former DSWD secretary under Lakas-CMD, and independent candidate Ben "Bitag" Tulfo (57.7%). Their strong media influence and public service reputation seem to be pushing them up the ranks.

Sotto, Bato, and Other Big Names in the Mix

Former Senate President Tito Sotto (49.0%, NPC) and Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa (48.4%, PDP-Laban) are also among the top contenders, showing that voters still favor experienced lawmakers with strong political backing.

Also making waves in the top ranks are:
• Pia Cayetano (48.0%, Nacionalista Party)
• Bong Revilla Jr. (46.0%, Lakas-CMD)
• Willie Revillame (39.5%, Independent) – the TV host-turned-politician continues to gain traction!
• Lito Lapid (38.7%, NPC)
• Abby Binay (38.4%, NPC)

Pacquiao Still a Crowd Favorite

Boxing icon Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao (37.7%, PFP) is hanging on at 12th place, proving that his influence in politics is still alive. He joins Camille Villar (37.9%, Nacionalista Party) in rounding out the Magic 12.

Notable Names Outside the Top 12

The survey also placed Ping Lacson (37.5%, Independent) at 13th, followed by:
• Phillip “Ipe” Salvador (31.5%, PDP-Laban)
• Rodante Marcoleta (30.0%, Independent)
• Imee Marcos (29.9%, Nacionalista Party)
• Jimmy Bondoc (29.5%, PDP-Laban)
• Gringo Honasan (27.9%, Reform Party)

Liberal Party figures Bam Aquino (27.7%) and Kiko Pangilinan (25.1%) are further down the list, but still in the running.

The Survey Breakdown

The survey was conducted from March 15 to 21, 2025, with 670 registered voters participating nationwide. The study followed a proportional stratified random sampling method and has a ±3.79% margin of error at a 95% confidence level.

With less than a year to go before the 2025 elections, these rankings could still shift. Will Bong Go maintain his lead? Will the Tulfo brothers make a move to the top? Or will a dark horse shake up the rankings? Stay tuned.
