It was a day of gratitude and celebration for the entertainment industry on October 13, as Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. expressed his heartfelt thanks to President Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. and Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez for their incredible support. During the two-day Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) held at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, Revilla acknowledged the government's significant initiative—a P75-million package dedicated to financial aid and capacity-building for over 15,000 members of the film, television, theater, and radio community.

Revilla, a well-known figure in both politics and showbiz, highlighted how this event marked a milestone in government support for the entertainment sector. "This is the first time the government has extended such kind of attention and support to the industry," Revilla shared with a smile, clearly pleased with the outcome. The two-day event at the PhilSports Arena, also known as Ultra, created a buzz as it aimed to uplift the livelihoods of those who bring stories to life on screen and stage, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to Filipino culture.

The BPSF initiative aims to provide not just financial assistance, but also capacity-building opportunities, ensuring that industry members are equipped with the skills and resources to thrive. As part of the program, workshops and training sessions were held to offer practical knowledge and career growth strategies, reflecting a well-rounded approach to supporting the sector. It was a nod from the government recognizing that this industry does more than entertain—it also inspires and fosters national pride.

The event gathered not just the entertainment community but also an array of public figures. Among those present were Deputy Majority Leader for Communications and ACT-CIS Party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo, former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr., and Pasig Lone District Representative Roman Romulo, alongside other House members. Their attendance underscored the government's unified effort in making the BPSF a reality and supporting the country's cultural contributors.
