Choco Mucho's Deanna Wong To Sit Out Rest Of 2024 PVL Season
It looks like Choco Mucho fans will have to wait a little longer to see Deanna Wong back in action. The beloved setter for the Flying Titans will be sitting out the remainder of the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference to manage a persistent knee injury, as confirmed by Coach Dante Alinsunurin. The goal? To ensure Wong is fully recovered and ready to come back strong by January next year.

With Wong temporarily sidelined, Choco Mucho will look to playmakers Mars Alba and Jem Ferrer to steer the ship. Alba and Ferrer will take the lead on setting duties and help carry the team through the season’s critical games.

Wong’s absence will surely be felt on the court and in the fans’ hearts, but everyone’s rallying behind her recovery. For now, all we can do is send our well wishes and get ready for her anticipated return in 2025.
