Colegio San Agustin-Makati (CSA) has finally broken its silence regarding the controversy involving Mrs. Kurdi-Soldevilla’s daughter, following accusations of bullying that quickly gained public attention.

In its official statement, CSA clarified that the incident on December 10, 2024, was not a case of bullying but rather a misunderstanding among students during preparations for their Christmas party. The school emphasized that it promptly addressed the matter with both the students and parents involved.

CSA reiterated that handling the issue requires caution, confidentiality, and sensitivity, particularly because minors are involved. The school also urged Mrs. Soldevilla—an actress and public figure—to cooperate with the school’s internal mechanisms and refrain from sharing information that could embarrass or harm the children involved.

While CSA acknowledged Mrs. Soldevilla’s likely good intentions, it expressed concern over the unintended consequences of airing the situation publicly. They pointed out that such exposure could have lasting emotional effects not just on the students allegedly involved but also on her daughter.
