'From The Bottom Of My Heart': Pope Francis Thanks Faithful For Prayers Amid Health Struggles
Even from a distance, Pope Francis made sure to send his gratitude. In a prerecorded message played during a rosary prayer service in St. Peter’s Square on Thursday night, the Holy Father personally thanked those gathered for their prayers—especially for his health.

“I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers for my health from the square; I accompany you from here,” he said in Spanish, his voice noticeably hoarse and breathless. “May God bless you and the Virgin protect you. Thank you.”

The Vatican confirmed that the message was recorded earlier in the day, as the Pope continues to take things easy due to his ongoing health concerns. Despite his struggles, his words carried warmth and sincerity, a reminder of his deep connection with the faithful.

Even though he wasn’t physically present, his message left a strong impression—one of gratitude, faith, and the reassurance that he’s still with his people, even from afar.
