In a big win for the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Hans Leo Cacdac has been officially confirmed as its Secretary. The Commission on Appointments (CA) gave their nod of approval on Tuesday, marking an exciting new chapter for the department.

The DMW family was quick to celebrate, expressing their confidence in Secretary Cacdac’s leadership. They believe that under his guidance, the department will continue to make significant strides in improving the lives of overseas Filipino workers and their families.

In his reaction to the confirmation, Secretary Cacdac shared his gratitude, saying, “I’m elated and thankful to the Committee. I’m actually told not to say much until after the plenary, so at this stage, I’m just thankful. I’m grateful to the president and ready to roll up our sleeves.”
