Kiyomi Watanabe’s journey in the 2024 Paris Olympics came to a close with a tough loss against Jing Tang of China in the Women’s Judo 63kg division. Ranked 22nd in the world, Tang proved to be a formidable opponent, pushing Watanabe to her limits.

In what was an intense and closely fought battle, Kiyomi gave her all on the mat but ultimately fell short. Despite the setback, her performance throughout the Olympics has been commendable and a testament to her skill and dedication.

While it’s never easy to say goodbye to the Olympic stage, Watanabe's efforts and sportsmanship have undoubtedly earned her respect and admiration from fans and fellow athletes alike.
