Kris Aquino isn’t one to hold back when it comes to sharing her truth. After Miguel Lorenzo Padlan, the son of her ex-boyfriend Dr. Mike Padlan, defended his father against online rumors, the Queen of All Media took to social media to set the record straight—this time, with a little more reflection and a heartfelt apology.

In a series of art cards, Kris recounted her experiences with Dr. Mike’s children and their past relationship before it ended. She admitted that her initial post came from a place of anger but wanted to make sure that the full story—including the parts where Dr. Mike went out of his way to check on her—was told.

“Please let my art cards tell my story. We don’t always end up with the one we love, sometimes we don’t even end up with a life partner. Life can be lonely, and being sick is a day-to-day battle. Right now, I’m not winning… but #bawalsumuko #tuloyanglaban,” Kris wrote in her caption.

She clarified that while she did pay for Dr. Mike’s services as a travel doctor in May 2022, he was not the one who accompanied her to Houston. However, he did visit her multiple times in LA of his own volition—something she regretted not mentioning in her previous post. “Doc Mike, I APOLOGIZE for NOT STATING THIS IN MY EARLIER POST,” she added.

Alongside her statement, Kris shared raw photos of her current health struggles, giving fans a glimpse into her battle with autoimmune diseases. “This is MY NOW… I wanted you to see the pain and struggle so that you will continue to pray. I have a Lupus Flare fever now. It’s been more than 2 weeks,” she revealed.

Despite the pain, Kris remains resilient, holding on to her signature fighting spirit. As she continues her health journey, one thing is clear—she’s not giving up anytime soon.
